ABSTRACT
Cow urine has many beneficial properties particularly in the area of agriculture and therapeutics. That‟s why go-mutra therapy provides an especially rich and provocative research topic. It is important and essential part of Panchgavya chikitra. Different Indian system of medicine literature have mentioned its importance and uses for the treatment of kushtha (leprosy), kandu (Itching/ prutitis), udarrog, colic, Abdominal tumor, Enlargement of the abdomen and flatulence, for therapies such as decoction, purgation, enema etc,. It is also useful in agriculture for preparation of vermin-compost and bio-pesticides. It is the most effective natural remedy. Cow urine is an excellent bio-
enhancer and recently cow urine is an excellent bio-enhancer and recently cow urine distillate has been granted U.S patents. Various uses and researches on cow urine are summarized in this article.
