ABSTRACT
Vitamin D is a type of fat-soluble vitamin. The main forms of vitamin D are found in various types of food for daily intake were vitamin D2 dan vitamin D3. Vitamin D2 is pharmacologically less potent than vitamin D3, which makes vitamin D3 the preferred agent for medical use. Vitamin D3 plays an important role in regulating calcium levels and helps maintain the body's immune system. The method used is a literature study by collecting primary data sources or literature in the form of official books and international journals in the last 15 years (2006-2021). This review article discusses the analysis of vitamin D3 levels in pharmaceutical preparations and biological matrices using
HPLC, LC-MS/MS, and TLC-Densitometry methods. The samples analyzed were tablets, capsules, serum, and plasma. Determination of vitamin D3 can be analyzed by various methods with their respective advantages.
Keywords: Vitamin D3, HPLC, LC-MS/MS, TLC-Densitometry.
