PREPARATION OF ZEOLITES 4A FROM ORE CLAY AND BAUXITE USING TRIETHANOLAMINE AS A STRUCTURING DIRECTING AGENT (SDA) VIA PRECIPITATION METHOD

ABSTRACT
The Study involve preparation of Zeolite 4a from natural clay and bauxite via The precipitation method, which includes several steps, the first of which is the crushing of the crude clay and bauxite, and then sieved by molecular sieves (200-300) mesh, with the addition of ethyl alcohol to absorb the heat resulting from the grinding process, followed by isolating the aqueous silica solution from the raw clay, then isolating the alumina solution from the bauxite, the zeolite4a preparation process is evacuated using triethanolamine as (SDA) the prepared zeolite, oreclay and bauxite were investigated by differents analytical techniques, scanning electronmicroscopy (SEM) x-ray
diffraction (XRD), x-ray fluorescence (XRF), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), BET Surface area.
