SYNTHESIS, CHARACTERIZATION & SCREENING FOR ANTI-INFLAMMATORY ACTIVITY OF SOME 2,4-DICHLORO-N-((1-(2,4-DINITROPHENYL)-3-SUBSTITUTED PHENYL-1-H-PYRAZOL-4-YL) METHYLENE) BENZENAMINE DERIVATIVES

ABSTRACT
In the current study, an effort is finished to synthesize a series of Seven novel pyrazole derivatives (5a-g) and estimate (anti-inflammatory action) by Rat Paw Edema Model bringing inflammation through carrageenan. In scheme initially substituted acetophenone is made to react with dinitro phenyl hydrazine by treatment with ethanol to form (E)-2-(2,4-dinitrophenyl-1-(1-substituted phenylethylidene) hydrazine(3). The derivative was again reacted by using Vilsmeier Haack agent [DMF+POCL3] that give 1-(2,4-dinitrophenyl)-3-substituted phenyl 1-H-pyrazole-4-carbaldehyde(4).The ultimate derivative moiety was prepared through the reaction of 1-(2,4-dinitrophenyl)-3-substituted phenyl 1-H-pyrazole-4-carbaldehyde with substituted aromatic amine with catalytic amount of conc. HCL in
presence of ethanol used as a solvent. The construction of ultimate pyrazole derivatives was recognized on the origin of FT-IR and 1H NMR spectra and initiate to have prominent values. In the pharmacological screening, by means of using Rat Paw Edema Model meant for anti-inflammatory activity. The result of the current study showed compounds (5a) & (5c) shows maximum effectiveness potent than all other derivatives despite the fact Diclofenac was reserved as a standard drug.
