UTILITY OF PANCHAVAYAVA IN DIFFERENT FIELDS

ABSTRACT

Ayurveda an ancient science has been practicing since 500 years, by the great sages and Physicians. Study of Ayurveda is not only for Medical students it is for all. Achaarya Charaka in his 30th chapter of Sutrasthana has mentioned that, Brahmana, Kshatriy and Vaishya 3 Varna people and people who wish to follow the Purushartha Chatushtaya, they are Dharma, Artha, Kaama and Moksha, everyone can study this Ayurveda.[1] It means some of Basic Principels of Ayurveda are not only designed for Medical Scholar but it is for all. As per Manusmruti, in ancient days the religions are classified on the base of selection of their occupation and their intelligence, they are, Brahmana-Scholars and Teachers, Kshatriya- Rulers and Administrators, Vaishya-Traders & Shudra- Labors.[2] Maximum basic principles are intended for Maintenance of good health and to cure the disease, but some principles or concepts are unique concepts explained by acharyas are used in different fields. Purusharth chatushtaya are common to every Purusha.
