ABSTRACT
Transdermal drug delivery system (TDDS) has made an important contribution to society. it is designed for the controlled continuous delivery of drug through the skin to systemic circulation. This system has various advantages & disadvantages. Basic components of tdds include drug, polymer matrix membrane etc. Transdermal patches are divide into various system like reservoir system, matrix system & microreservior system etc. The underlines the methodology of physiology of skin, types of transdermal patches and its preparation,
