ABSTRACT
Hinguladya malahara is developed on the basis of malahara kalpana process mentioned in Rasatarangini, which is very effective in Phiranga vrana.[1] Its constituent is Hingula, Girisindhura and Siktha taila. Siktha taila. Hingula is indicated in eye diseases, kushta roga. Girisindhura when used for external application it cures all 13 types of ksudra kushta and is a good vrana ropaka. Siktha taila acts as Sandhanakara, Vranaropaka and Bhutaghna. Siktha taila is indicated in vrana, visarpa, kushta.[2] The present research study is carried out to evaluate its physico chemical analysis and to evaluate its antimicrobial activity.
