Abstract
KNOWLEDGE, ATTITUDE AND PRACTICE OF YOGA AMONG AYURVEDIC PRACTITIONERS: A QUESTIONNAIRE SURVEY IN MAHARASHTRA

ABSTRACT
Yoga is one of the commonly known subject amongst the people in society due to current pandemic situation. Whole country is following the modules given in the common yoga protocols furnished by govt. of India (Dept. of AYUSH) to become a healthy. Ayurveda is a holistic science of medicine which is predominantly deals with prevention rather than intervention hence Ayurveda health providers plays an important role in to aware society about yoga. Aim: Knowledge, attitude and practice of yoga among Ayurveda practitioners’ questionnaire survey in Maharashtra. Materials and Method: A cross sectional survey was done by questionnaire that contains 15 questions regarding KAP of Yoga in 60vaidyas of Maharashtra by what’s app
them questionnaire and asking them to resend it after answering. Data collected analysed by using MS Excel 2007 and expressed in % percentage. Result: Amongst 60 vaidyas 55 responded to our survey 100% of them were aware of term Yoga. 100% of them knew about concept. 95% of them knew about National common yoga protocol.95% of them knew about proper concepts of yoga. Conclusion: Our study conclude that majority of Ayurveda health professionals in Maharashtra had good knowledge and attitude about Yoga. Majority of them utilizes in their practice.
