A REVIEW ON TRANSDERMAL PATCH

ABSTRACT
Transdermal drug administration offers the opportunity to be painless. The complaint of using the skin as a drug entry point lies in the condition of the acquisition, its location, and the system access through basic circulatory and lymphatic circulation networks and the illicit nature of drug delivery. Skin delivery of systemic skin, called transdermal delivery, came into use in 1981, while Ciba-Geigy marketed Transdermal V (modern day marketed as Transdermal Scoop) to prevent nausea and vomiting associated with motion sickness. Transdermal drug delivery offers a controlled release of the drug in the patient, creates a stable blood profile, which has led to a reduction in the systemic side effects and, sometimes, improved
performance over other standard forms. The main purpose of the delivery of drugs for sale system to deliver drugs to the circulation of the skin system at a predetermined rate with minimal inter and also intra-patient variability.
