REVIEW ON DIABETES MELLITUS: A METABOLIC DISORDER AND ONE OF THE GLOBAL CHALLENGE TO WORLD

ABSTRACT
Diabetes mellitus is one of the metabolic disorder and inherited single gene disorder which include increase blood pressure, high blood sugar level in body. It is a one of the global disorder in which an increasing global incidence today rapidly in that particular time period in particular region. Hyperglycemia is the major symptoms seen in diabetes mellitus as a result of an insufficient secretion of cells of islets of Langerhans which is capable for the movement of glucose towards the targeted cells in the body.[1]
There are two major types of diabetes are present today and have higher incidence of transmission mainly from pediatric and in geriatric population as follows:-
1) Type 1
2) Type 2.
For type 1 of diabetes mellitus disease affected patients Insulin production strategy is the chief support of a organization. Type 2 diabetes mellitus disease Insulin hormone is essential because the glucose present in body are unable to control by the use of a specifically maintained diet and monitored by a medical physician only but also the physical activity and other medications available are also required. The recovery of type 2 Diabetes Mellitus involve some of the anti-diabetic agents which are more potent than other used medications available today. In type 1 of diabetes mellitus disease other techniques like transfer of organlike cells of islets of Langerhans of one in another body and also artificial pancreas were also been developed now a day to treat these conditions.
