MISCONCEPTIONS RELATED TO YOGA PRACTICES

ABSTRACT
“The science and technology of how this life functions and what we can do with it is refer to as yoga”. Meaning of the word Yoga is “yujirya yoga” which means addition or combination of something. Acharya Vashistha explains it as the connection of Jivatma with the divine. Yoga has worked as the best remedy for our mental, physical & spiritual health for ages. The time of pandemic has taught us that health is indeed the wealth now and the best way to keep ourselves healthy mentally as well as physically is the practice of yoga on the daily basis. Even though people have started yoga practice nowadays but still there are lots of myths related to yoga practice in common man which needs to be cleared so that every human being can combine
himself to this and can get at most benefits from it. Hence an honest attempt has been made to clear all the prevailing doubts in common people related to yoga practice in an easy and understandable form.
