ABSTRACT
Inkjet printing has lately emerged as a promising technique for the production of drug delivery systems, along with a growing interest in personalized medicine. Despite the fact that inkjet printing is a well-established technology, it has not received much attention in the pharmaceutical sector, owing to a focus on mass manufacturing and marketing. The viability of inkjet printing as a way of manufacturing numerous drug delivery systems has been studied and researched in the last decade as specialized markets and specific requirements are given
more attention and are more economically and therapeutically important. The goal of this research was to see if inkjet printing might be used as a new production method. This was determined by focusing on the printing of proteins and poorly soluble medicines, the conditions needed for effective printing.
