STEP-UP DC–DC CONVERTER FOR PV APPLICATION

ABSTRACT
The voltage gain of the DC-DC converter is more than the conventional boost converter. Having two unidirectional and a bi- directional input makes the structure suitable for hybrid generation applications. For switching, the limit is less. Therefore, the maximum power of PV can be tracked and controlling of battery source and by controlling duty ratios of the switches, the output voltage can be calibrated. The cost of the desired DC-DC Converter is very less and hence it is economically beneficial. Instead of using only a conventional converter, here a multi-input and output converter with a lesser number of inductors for avoiding losses has been proposed. Unlike conventional converter, it has more voltage gain and is efficient too.
