ABSTRACT
A new simple, rapid and sensitive isocratic RP-HPLC method has been developed for the determination of methscopolamine bromide. The method employs shimadzu HPLC system on Xterra C 18 column. Chromatographic separation was achieved by using buffer: Acetonitrile in the ratio of 90:10 as mobile phase with a flow rate of 1.5ml\min and isocratic elution with total run time of 10 minutes. Detection of the compound was carried out at 210nm.The retention times of methscopolamine were found to be 3.2 respectively. The linearity studies ranges from at the concentration range of 100μg/ml. This method was validated for accuracy, precision, linearity, ruggedness and robustness as per ICH guidelines. The present newly
developed method was found to accurate, precise and can be useful for routine quality control analysis.
