COVID-19 THE PANDEMIC SITUATION AND ITS PREVENTION

ABSTRACT

The COVID-19 is a pandemic situation caused by a novel virus that belongs to the coronavirus family. The infection emerged in Dec-2019 in the city of China. Lots of people were found to have pneumonia and all are in direct or indirect contact with a market of Wuhan where seafood was sold. After China, the virus spread to various countries and infect the public in large numbers. The infection is spread from animal to human and also from human to human. Now a day various pharma companies are engaged in doing research to find out the most effective medicine for the treatment of COVID-19 along with this many countries have developed vaccines and get approval from the national regulatory authority. Considering the recent situation where no specific medicine for the treatment of COVID-19, we must keep ourselves strong by improving our immunity and protect ourselves by implementing preventive measures.
