VEGETATION STRUCTURE AND COMPOSITION IN GOVT. DR. BHIM RAV AMBEDKAR P.G. COLLEGE DONGARGAON DIST RAJNANDGAON C.G

ABSTRACT

The present work has been carried out to collect information about different plant species in Flora of Govt. Dr.Bhim Rav Ambedkar P.G. College Dongargaon Dist Rajnandgaon C.G. During the present investigation, 149 genera and 188 species belonging to 57 angiosperm families and Pteridophyta (01), Gymnosperm (4) have been recorded. They were the major vegetation in the surrounding of college campus. Asteraceae is most dominant families with 27 species each and Euphorbiaceae was co- dominant family with 17 species, while Fabaceae 16 species, Apocynaceae (11 species), while Lamiaceae (10 species), Study of college campus vegetation and data collection period are between September 2017 to January 2020. That Shrub 29, Tree- 31 Herb 125, Aquatic 3 recorded. Our study area college campus and College Garden where many ornamental, grasses, weed, Aquatic plants and medicinal plants. My study show college campus diversity represents area diversity.
