A COMPERATIVE REVIEW ON ANTENATAL CARE AMONG VARIOUS COUNTRIES.

ABSTRACT
Antenatal Care (ANC) is the care given to pregnant women by skilled health professionals to ensure the better health conditions for mother and baby during pregnancy, during delivery, and after delivery. It is important for the well-being of the mother and the child. We found about 57,900 articles with antenatal care terms on PubMed and Google Scholar search engine. Out of that 170 have been reviewed and from those 30 articles included in the study. The result revealed that there is a significant statistical relationship between residence and antenatal care utilization and education attainment, wealth, age, status, administrative region of residence, health insurance. In India, lack of perception about the importance of antenatal care utility precipitate in
inadequate utilization.
