ABSTRACT
COVID-19 is a corona virus disease that belongs to the Coronaviridae family. The disease is believed to have originated in bats and was transmitted to humans in Wuhan, China, through an unknown medium. In theory, the disease is transmitted by inhalation or near contact with infected droplets with an incubation period of two to fourteen days. Thousands of illnesses and deaths have occurred as a result of the disease. Fever, cough, sneezing, sore throat, trouble breathing, and exhaustion are also signs of the disease. Furthermore, the disease is diagnosed by collecting samples from the infected person's upper and lower respiratory tracts. X-rays of the chest and a CT scan are also used in the diagnostic stage. In essence, there is no specific cure for the
disease, necessitating the need to prevent it from spreading. Notable preventative measures Isolation of sick people, adequate ventilation, hand washing, and the use of personal protective equipment are all strategies. As a result, this paper covers all aspects of COVID-19, including epidemiology, transmission, clinical characteristics, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention.
Keywords: COVID-19, Acute respiratory syndrome, RNA, Virus, Symptoms, SARS-CoV-2.
