ABSTRACT
A Hematoma refers to an abnormal collection of blood in the body i.e., typically the result of broken or ruptured blood vessels. Hematomas near the skin result in a large patch of skin discolouration (typically black and blue) that occurs a trauma to the soft tissue. Anal hematoma can exist over a short period of time and extremely painful in acute stage, however majority of anal hematoma soon become painless and usually absorbed by conservative treatment. Despite of long history of identification and treatment hematoma needs a long time for cure and still leave some traces behind. In this study, cure of hematoma with the help of jalaukavacharan application is observed, which gives great results. A 36 years old male patient having chief complaints of pain and swelling at anal region, was clinically diagnosed as a case of anal hematoma. This patient was given treatment by Jalaukavacharan application. The parameters observed for prognosis were pain, tenderness and swelling in anal region. The observations showed remarkable improvement in terms of pain, tenderness and swelling and this observational case study revealed that Jalaukavacharan therapy provided significant relief in symptoms of anal hematoma.
