POLYHERBAL VANISHING CREAM: A BOON IN COSMECEUTICALS

ABSTRACT

The main aim of this research project is to formulate a polyherbal vanishing cream and to evaluate it on the basis of various evaluation parameters. Here, in this study, the polyherbal vanishing cream were formulated based on various medicinal properties of plant extract. The polyherbal vanishing cream was formulated using natural ingredients like Mentha, Clove, Linseed, Liquorice, Green tea, Orange peel, Pomegranate peel, Turmeric, Brahmi, Ashwagandha, Nutmeg, Cinnamon along with the synthetic ingredients stearic acid, potassium hydroxide. The evaluations of all formulation (F1 to F2) were done on different parameters like pH, spreadability and stability etc. These formulation doesn’t show redness, inflammation, irritancy and erythema on the skin after application. These studies suggest that composition of extracts and base of cream of (F1 to F2) more stable and safe, it may produce multiple medicinal effect so polyherbal vanishing cream is also referred as multi purpose skin cream.
