ABSTRACT
The aim of this study is to assess the teaching methods and to look for the changes required for better learning by the students. The rationale of teaching is to smooth the process of learning and to encourage the learners to learn more efficiently. The learning style is an individual’s reliable way of recognizing, processing, memorizing and retaining new information. In India the pharmacy and healthcare education are facing serious challenges in content and competencies. Increased focus on the quality of teaching in pharmacy colleges has led to increased use of students’ surveys as a means of evaluating teaching proficiency. A
questionnaire for evaluation of pharmacy teaching methods was conducted at B.P.S Educational Institution of Pharmacy Etah. College students participated voluntarily in this study. Based on the teaching methods an objective questionnaire to be solved in 20 mins was given to the students. Hence, it is very essential to harmonize teaching and evaluation methods with special necessities of students. In conclusion, we are trying to highlight the significance of creating a culture of assessment that embraces the perception of 360-degree assessment in both the expansion of a student’s ability to reveal attainment of educational outcomes and a faculty member’s capability to become an efficient tutor.
