NIOSOME: A NOVEL PARTICULATE DRUG DELIVERY SYSTEM IN THE TARGETED TREATMENT OF VARIOUS CANCER

ABSTRACT

The Discovery of the drug, which is a result of prodigious efforts of scientists, can be addressed to the body with the help of novel drug Delivery systems. Novel drug delivery systems in modern methodology are used as targeted delivery of drugs to improve bioavailability, potency, efficiency, and stability of the Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients. Novel Drug Delivery System (NDDS) proves very useful for the treatment of diseases such as various cancers, anti-viral diseases. NDDS is the future of targeted delivery systems which will help improve the activity of pharmaceutical formulations. Niosome is one of the promising novel drug delivery systems. This article includes structure, preparation, characterization, and preparation of Niosome which is a promising Novel Drug Delivery System (NDDS). Also, the article includes Niosome loaded drugs for various cancer treatments, their routes of administration, advantages, and disadvantages. Niosome Targeted drug delivery system is the promising future of targeted drug delivery systems for treatment of various Disease.
