ABSTRACT
Sneha Kalpanas has built an irreplaceable niche in the care of patients, Murchhana Sanskara is a Sneha Paka ancillary technique applied to the Ayurvedic Bhaisajya Ratnavali teeka. The text began the practice of stressing about Sneha Murchhana Sanskara in the crude Sneha, which is meant to eradicate unnecessary substances or Doshas. In the Ayurvedic classical text, the sneha Kalpana stated, that the ghrita is most readily accessible to all human beings and wholesome (satmya). It is commonly used in the form of rice, medicine and anupana (adjuvant). Ghrita murchana sanskara (ghrita processing) is stated in Bhaishajya Ratnavali for both taila and ghrita kalpana to reduce
amadosa, durgandhata (bad odor), and other dosha before the preparation of medicated ghee (aushadhi siddha ghrita), and this process also improves the sneha's viryata (potency). Many Ayurvedic pharmaceutical firms nowadays do not adopt this approach due to expense and time taking process.
