ABSTRACT
Herbal drugs have a significant place from the ancient time for treatment of various diseases. Now-a-days researchers have been keen interest on identifying the medicinally active constituent from different parts of the plants (leaf, stem, fruit, root, flower, bark) and solving the various worse health condition by evaluating their actual pharmacological activities. In this presented article another attempted has been made to evaluate in-vitro anti-inflammatory activity. The fact-based in this presented work is to explore the leaf part of the plant Ixora coccinea which is usually contains wide variety of medicinally active chemical constituent. The aim is to detached out the active
medicinal constituent using least polar & maximum polar solvent i.e. ethanol & water. The objective is to inspect the obtained ethanolic & aqueous for in vitro anti-inflammatory activity.
