ABSTRACT
The aim of the present study is to study comparison of effect of 5th generation drug of tigecycline 50 mg injection by various method of antimicrobial assay. To perform the microbial assay of tigecycline by three different methods such a 1. Cup plate method 2. Disc plate method 3. Turbidimetric method. To identify the micro –organism which has the highest zone of inhibition against the antibiotic. To find out the best method of antimicrobial assay among the three methods. To Perform the cup plate, disc plate, turbidimetric methods by using various concentration of antibiotic of tigecycline 50 mg injection and Measure the zone of inhibition and absorbance respectively, and Plot the graph to Study the comparative effect of microorganism by various microbial assay methods.
Keywords: UV -Ultraviolet visible, ?g -Micro gram, ml- Milliliter, nm- Nano meter, Zoi - zone of inhibition , b.i.d - twice a day, iv – intra venous.
