ABSTRACT
Aquasomes nanoparticles these are three layered self-assembled structures, perspective for evolution of pharmaceutical agents which contain of a solid phase Nano crystalline core coated with oligomer film to whereabouts biochemically active molecules are adsorbed with or without mitigation. The delivery system employed for the delivery of insulin, hemoglobin, and enzymes like serratiopeptidase etc and it is widely used for the preparation of implants for drug delivery. Aquasomes technology show a platform system for conformation integrity and biochemical stability of bioactive. Tin oxide, Nano crystalline carbon ceramics (diamonds) and brushite (calcium phosphate dihydrate) are three types of core materials are mainly used for producing aquasomes. Core of interest is calcium phosphate, due to its natural presence in the body. Solid core is responsible for structural stability of aquasome while the carbohydrate coating protects against dehydration and stabilizes the biochemically active molecules. After introducing such type of formulations show better immunological response and could be used as immunoadjuvants for proteinaceous antigens. This strategy thus give pharmaceutical scientists with new hope for the delivery of bioactive molecules. This report reviews the problems and limitations analogus with the delivery of clinically significant bioactives and make an argument for the aquasomes as a potential substitute as a drug delivery carrier and the crossing of these self-assembly principles into a single functional composition by support the conformational integrity and biochemical activity of immobilized surface pairs.
