ABSTRACT
Public health has been affected by the outbreak of Coronavirus Disease-2019 (COVID-19) caused by Extreme Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2). As of the end of 2020, approximately 10 million confirmed cases and nearly 5 million COVID-19-related deaths have occurred. The primary focus of care and control is rapid and early laboratory diagnosis of COVID-19. The basis for COVID-19 confirmation is molecular testing, but SARS-CoV-2 serological testing is widely available and plays an increasingly important role in understanding the epidemiology of the virus and in identifying populations at higher risk of infection. Point-of-care tests have the benefit of rapid, reliable, compact, low-cost and non-specific criteria for instruments that offer great aid in diagnosing and detecting diseases. Appropriate clinical samples for research, and related biosafety security, will be addressed in this study. The diagnosis of COVID-19 caused by SARS-CoV-2 will be driven by this study.
