ABSTRACT

In the present communication an effort has been made to review the research work carried out on the synthesis of 1,3,4-oxadiazole moieties bearing heterocyclic compounds using microwave assisted reactions. These reactions are ecofriendly, solvent free, less time consuming and easy to carry out. 1,3,4-oxadiazole heterocycles are considered in our research work as these lead molecules are gaining biological importance in the recent literatures due to their wide range of pharmacological activities.
