THE POST COVID SYNDROME AND PRECAUTIONS FOR PATIENTS

ABSTRACT
The Coronavirus 2019 (Covid-19) is an acute respiratory disorder, caused by a novel coronavirus (SARS-CoV2, previously referred to as 2019-nCoV). The virus derives in bats and was transfered to humans through yet unknown intermediary animals in Wuhan, Hubei province, China in December 2019. The pandemic of coronavirus constituents to the public health emergency of international concern declared by World Health Organization (WHO). The disease is mild in most people, in some, it may develop into pneumonia, acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) and multi-organ dysfunction. Many people are asymptomatic. The novel coronavirus uses the identical receptor, angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2) as that for SARS-CoV, and mainly spreads through the respiratory tract. The Post Covid Symptoms are Breathlessness, fatigue, sleep impairment, anxiety, dizziness and Multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children. Treatment of Covid-19 with Antibodies, Vaccines, antiviral agents, convalescent plasma transfusion, corticosteroids, chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine.
