EFFECTIVENESS OF PLANNED TEACHING PROGRAMME ON KNOWLEDGE REGARDING HAZARDOUS EFFECTS OF JUNK FOODS ON HEALTH AMONG ADOLESCENTS IN LITTLE ANGEL EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTE BAGAT-E-SHOORA SRINAGAR KASHMIR

ABSTRACT
“A Pre-experimental study was conducted to assess the effectiveness of planned teaching programme on knowledge regarding hazardous effects of junk foods on health among adolescents in little angel educational institute, Bagat-e-Shoora, Srinagar Kashmir. A quantitative, pre –experimental research design was used. The results revealed that in the pre-test 15(50%) of the adolescents had poor level of knowledge while as in post-test 1(3.33%) of the adolescents had poor knowledge. Consequently, 11(36.67%) of the adolescents in the pre-test had average knowledge and in the post-test 9(30%) of the adolescents had average knowledge. 3(13.33%) of the adolescents in the pre-test had Good level of knowledge while as 20(66.67%) of the adolescents in post-test had Good level of knowledge which shows the effectiveness of Planned Teaching Programme.
