A REVIEW ON NIOSOMES AS A PROMISING DRUG CARRIER

ABSTRACT

Novel Drug delivery systems have been developed to overcome the shortcomings of conventional drug delivery. Out of the many available Niosomes are being used extensively due to their greater stability, cost etc. as compared to liposomes. They also have the capability to deliver both hydrophilic as well as hydrophobic drugs have applications in various types of drug delivery such as parenteral, ophthalmic, topical etc.
