ABSTRACT
Diabetes is characterized by changes in ability to maintain internal stability of blood sugar levels. This is widespread disease, gives serious complications (acute and chronic). The subcutaneous injection of insulin is the first line treatment, which route of administration is risk of pain, discomfort to the patients and also local infection. The disease affects life quality of patients negatively and also causes high costs for health and work systems. Nanoparticles have been proposed as insulin carriers to make possible administration of drug via suitable pathways without need of injection. In this review discuss the different types of Nanoparticulate drug delivery system for diabetes to improve delivery of drugs.
Keywords: Nanoparticulate, drug delivery system, diabetes.
