PERSPECTIVE AND KNOWLEDGE OF ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TEACHER ABOUT USING MEDICINES

ABSTRACT
Elementary school teachers' knowledge about using medicine was reported low, so it gets attention because the teacher is one of the facilitators to achieve rational drug use for elementary school students. Provide information about medicine for students in schools, especially in elementary schools. This study examines the scientific literature related to teachers' knowledge of medicine in elementary schools in various countries from 2000-2020. In making this review article, the authors collected literature related to elementary school teachers' knowledge about medicine collected from the Springer, PubMed, Science Direct databases with the keywords used in this article are knowledge, teachers, elementary schools, medicine. The results obtained in the literature study were the level of teachers' knowledge of elementary school teachers about medicine. Literature studies conducted on 11 scientific literature show that teacher knowledge is generally low. The highest teacher knowledge was found in America and Slovenia.
