Abstract

A REVIEW ON PANDEMIC DISEASES AND PREVENTIVE MEASURES BASED ON THE SIDDHA AND AYURVEDA MEDICINES IN INDIA

ABSTRACT

A Pandemic viral infectious disease caused by many kinds of pathogenic micro organisms. The pandemic diseases spread throughout world and causing a greater number of deaths especially viruses and bacterial infections. The infection starts in smaller groups and outbreaks epidemic to rapidly spread through different factors change as pandemic. The pandemic diseases such as HIV/ AIDS, Plague, Flu infections, Influenza, Cholera, Swine flu, Anthrax, Ebola viral infections, Measles, Small pox and current pandemic by corona viruses (COVID- 19) were infected large regions, more than 300 countries and killed million people all around the world. These types of diseases focussed and controlled, prevented from infection by Ayurvedha and Siddha medicines in India. Indigenous plant-based drugs support the entire pharmaceutical industries. This review explains about Pandemic diseases and medicinal plants are possessing effective bioactive compounds contains potential activities against of pathogenic organisms. The home-made remedies more incredible uses of medicinal plants as a food, insisted in Siddha and Ayurvedha medical system. The healing properties of medicinal plants utilised by researchers in their research to development and discover the novel effective therapeutic drugs from Ayurvedha and Siddha medical system in India.
