THE IMPORTANCE OF INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION AND CROSS-BORDER PATIENT CARE IN THE CONTEXT OF COVID-19

ABSTRACT

The aim of this review is to follow and analyze the documents announced by the EC in the field of cross-border health cooperation, as well as publications of the WHO, the World Bank and other regional and international organizations on measures to support local health systems related to COVID-19 pandemic. This analysis examines the topic of the impact and consequences of the coronavirus pandemic on public health, as well as some of the proposed solutions to improve the financing and functioning of health systems in general.
