ABSTRACT
Adnexal masses are common and can be diagnosed during pregnancy. Conservative treatment is discussed outside the emergency; however the occurrence of acute complications such as annexes twisting (AT), requires performing surgical procedures that may be invasive.[1] The twist of annex during pregnancy is rare occurrence. It is sometimes favored by ovarian hyper stimulation observed in medically assisted procreation. The ideal is conservative surgery with ovarian preservation despite its necrotic appearance[2] which is only possible in cases seen and treated early; despite the great capacity of recovery of
the ovary. We present through this work the case of a twist appendix diagnosed and treated during the first trimester of pregnancy.
Keywords: torsion, adnexa, pregnancy.
