Abstract

SYNTHESIS & FTIR CHARACTERIZATION OF PAMAM DENDRIMERS

ABSTRACT

Dendrimers have the properties of size, molecular weight, monodispersity and shape. They are unimolecular miceller in nature. Dendrimers can work as a valuable instrument for enhancing drug delivery of such unsuitable drugs. Despite the fact that the use of dendrimers in the field of delivery, gene delivery, antibody delivery and controlled drug delivery, including the control one has over the essential environment of the system. In this research article mainly FTIR (Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy) analytical technique used for the characterization of the chemical composition of dendrimers. Dendrimers were synthesized from -0.5 G to 1.5 G by divergent Growth Method and observed characteristic peaks in IR spectra provides the proof of synthesis progress.
