GREEN SYNTHESIS OF SILVER NANOPARTICLES: A NON-TOXIC APPROACH

ABSTRACT

Green synthesis of nanoparticles is an eco-friendly and cost-effective method which had got attention over past few years due to their tremendous application in the field of therapeutics, diagnostics and as anti-microbial agent. The present review mainly focuses on the primary requirement for green synthesis of nanoparticles, their types, method of preparation, characteristics and their applications. Lastly, we concluded this review with a summary of some plant mediated synthesis of silver nanoparticle and their activity.
