PLASMAPHERESIS IN TUBERCULOSIS TREATMENT: A REVIEW

ABSTRACT
Tuberculosis remains a very common infection, especially in developing countries. Despite all the achievements of modern medicine medicine, its treatment remains a very difficult problem. The main reason is the species of microbacteria that are resistant to most drugs. A large number of them, if taken together, develop severe intoxication, which is the leading cause of death. Apheresis therapy can help solve this problem, as it corrects the immune system along with detoxification. The experience of plasmapheresis suggests a rapid recovery of organ dysfunction and a more stable treatment of the disease.
