ABSTRACT
This paper presents the micro suspension approach for increasing the solubility. The main aim behind the study was to compare the activities of extract, micro suspension prepared in lab and tetracycline for the antibacterial activity. The micro suspension was compared for antibacterial activity against gram –ve and +ve bacteria. After comparing the activities the zone of inhibition of micro suspension was higher as compared to other. The extract obtained in lab by soxhlet extraction method. The extract was evaluated for different parameters like solubility, viscosity and FTIR etc. Micro suspensions of the roots of Annona reticulata L (Ramphal) plant extract was prepared by using
polyvinyl alcohol (1.5% w/v) as a stabilizer. Prepared micro suspension was characterized by scanning electron microscope and zeta potential.
Keywords: Micro suspension, Polyvinyl alcohol, Annona reticulata, Extraction, Antimicrobial activity.
