ABSTRACT
Peripheral artery disease is a form of arterial insufficiency, in which blood circulation through the arteries will be decreased. The low back ache and both leg pain (rest pain and claudication pain) are the main symptoms of PAD. History of smoking, alcohol and patients with other co-morbid disease conditions are at greater risk of acquiring PAD. Therefore, controlling the risk factors and maintaining healthy diet along with proper monitoring can reduce the disease characteristics.
