ANTIOXIDANTS FROM DIFFERENT NATURAL SOURCES IN INDIA

ABSTRACT
Standing in the present situation of covid-19 pandemic, potential treatment strategy, i.e. antioxidation therapy is used, using natural oxidants in food products shows less adverse effects rather than synthetic oxidants. Natural sources of antioxidants are a variety of plant materials such as herbs, spices, legumes, oilseeds, fruits, vegetables, and animal products. Antioxidants generally inhibits oxidation. Oxidation produce free radicals which cause chain reaction & cause damages to the cell. This article provides an overview of antioxidants, their natural sources and their applications.
