A COMPARATIVE STUDY ON THE IMPACT OF CORONA IRRUPTION ON ECONOMIC GROWTH OF INDIA

ABSTRACT

In December 2019, an outbreak of corona disease causes due to coronavirus2, occurred in wuhan city, china. Later this virus is spread and infect almost all countries in the world. As the no. of infected and death cases increases rapidly World Health Organization (WHO) declare this as a pandemic. as it is a contagious disease to avoid spreading of infection from person to person government declare prolonged lockdown in countries. Countries struggle to deal with corona but in this way, economy is badly stuck. The coronavirus outbreak is severely disrupting the global economy. Magnitude of economic impact is depending upon the duration and severity of covid-19. In corona crisis people not only distress about health issue, but also due to economic issue. The main contribution of this work is a comparative study of pre-covid economic condition and post-covid economic condition. In this paper, we describe about covid-19 disease and the possible ways in which spreading can controlled, and the impact of lockdown on varies sectors. Major sectors are banking sector, tourism, agricultural sector and pharmaceutical sector.
