A CASE REPORT OF METASTATIC CARCINOMA OF THE MALE BREAST

ABSTRACT
Male breast cancer (MBC) accounts for less than 1% of all breast cancers. The etiology, diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer in males are similar to that in females. Risk factors have been attributed to old age, genetics, endocrine factors, exposure to radiation or female hormones. The present study reported the case of a 47-year-old man who was diagnosed with an invasive carcinoma of the breast; without any important risk factors.Male breast cancer can be cured or controlled like majority of cancers if properly diagnosed and treated at its early stages.
