A SHORT REVIEW ON OVERVIEW OF COVID 19

ABSTRACT

Corona virus disease-2019 (COVID 19) is an infectious disease caused by the severe acute respiratory Syndrome (SARS CoV-2) the origin of the disease in 2019 from Wuhan, china. WHO declare the global spread of the corona virus is pandemic. Corona virus has the positive sense single RNA. it structure having the crown like projection hence named as the corona virus. Cough, fever, sore throat, sneezing these are the common symptoms, Mode of transmission is from the close contact and droplet. There is some rare evidence suggest airborne transmission, for the corona virus ACE2 has been identified as the functional receptor. Prevention, management and treatment are three important steps to control corona virus. However, there is no precise treatment for covid-19. Approaches used for the treatment of COVID- 19 are allopathic, ayurvedic and homeopathic type. This review will introduce a general overview of corona virus and describe the clinical features, evaluation, prevention and treatment of COVID-19 patients.
