SYNTHESIS AND BIOLOGICAL EVALUATION OF 6-FLUORO BENZOTHIAZOLE SUBSTITUTED 1,3,4-THIADIAZOLE

ABSTRACT
Wide ranges of biological activities are associated with benzthiazole and thiadiazole moieties. In order to develop pharmacologically active molecules, a series of novel Fuoro-benzthiazole substituted thiadiazole derivatives were synthesized. In view of this, 2-amino 6-fluoro benzothiazoles were synthesized from 3-chloro-4-fluoro aniline and reacted with hydrazine hydrate and carbon disulphide. On further treatment with pyridine gives benzothiazole substituted thiadiazole derivative and the formed derivatives were condensed with different primary and secondary amines. Further the synthesized compounds were confirmed by spectral analysis such as IR, 1H-NMR, Mass and were evaluated for Anti-bacterial activity against Bacillus subtilis, Staphylococcus aureus, Klebsiella pneumonia, Escherichia coli and Anti-fungal activity against Aspergillus niger and Aspergillus flavus.
