A REVIEW ON THE PLANTATION METHOD AND NUTRITIVE VALUE OF DIFFERENT PARTS OF MORINGA OLEIFERA PLANT

ABSTRACT
From the ancient times, man has cultivated many herbs along with food herbs to fulfil his requirements. These herbs are the storehouse of remedies to cure various ailments of mankind. Herbal medicines are considered as valuable and precious gift to humanity by God, and they play significant role in treating and promoting the health. People of south eastern Asian countries still belief in efficacy and potentiality of herbal remedies. In this review also, we are going to discuss herb named Moringa oleifera, which is blessed with many properties such as anti-oxidant, anti-cancer, anti-inflammatory, anti-diabetic, anti
-microbial along with this, this herb shows the nutritional as well as commercial value. Moringa oleifera, is an angiosperm plant, native to pantropical region and various parts of plants have been utilized as food and medicine. The medicinal uses has been established by the local communities. This plant is considered as one of the most effective way of considering the good health as this possess medicinal, nutritional and social-economic values. Among the tribes, it is considered as multiuse tree also known as cabinet of natural medicine. Even, through scientific research it has been observed that the leaves of plant can treat dyslipidemia and chronic hyperglycemia. It is even used for treatment of malnutrition among children. Seeds has been observed with properties of natural coagulant.
