ABSTRACT
The objective of this study is to assess the Impact of lock down on the psychiatric comorbidity The World Health Organization declared that Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has been as a pandemic on March 11, 2020, as soon as it out break in the epidemiological criteria and leads to economic crisis to implement preventive measures and lock of mobility of society. It leads to psycho social consequences. The population with infection in more than 1, 00,000 people in 100 countries suffered with comorbidities. The world wide data on comorbidity indicates that it is a highly common phenomenon than assessed in continuous clinical practice In India, the study on psycho
social effect on controlling comorbidities is limited, with comorbidity data reported to be as high as 60% in population. The studies conclude that, Hypertension, Diabetes and Respiratory System related comorbidity is higher in society. The substance abuse and psychiatric related comorbidities are in small numbers.
