ABSTRACT

Shalakya tantra is one of the branch of Ayurveda where the Disease regarding Eye, Ear, Nose, Throat Oral cavity & Dentistry That is Urdhwajatrugata Vyadhies are mentioned Among the dnyanendriyaaacharya have given prime Importance to Chakshurendriya & quated as “Sarvendriyamnayanampradhanam”. The Authority of shalakyatantra paid much more attension on the disease of netra. Insushrut Sanhita Sushrut has explained VartmagataRoga Various diseases are co related in Ayurveda with modern diseases, as per there signs &symptoms. There are signs & symptoms of anjannamika is near by same as stye.
