ABSTRACT
The aim of the present study was to formulate a novel topical spray containing skin benefits like smoothening, calming, antimicrobial, antioxidant, anti-irritant containing ingradients. These approaches have been influential in the field because it avoids first pass metabolism, slow onset of action, gastro intestinal irritability, increased absorption of drug through human skin. Therefore clear clinical need exists for the development of suitable formulation of drug containing tea (Camellia sinensis), tulsi (Ocimum tenuiflorum) and marigold (Calendula officinalis) that has improved permeability and absorption. The formulation of the same was prepared and an optimum formulation
was studied for skin irritation study, compatibility and stability study. The preformulation studies for drug were carried out which included preliminary phytochemical screening, stability and compatibility of all ingredients.
